Job summary

JX Enterprises in Lafayette, IN is seeking a Warehouse Coordinator I to keep the Parts Department running smoothly. This full-time role operates Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, and offers a path to growth within a family-owned, community-focused organization.

As the Warehouse Coordinator I, you will manage freight receiving, stocking, order fulfillment, and internal support, while collaborating with leadership to create positive customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Freight receiving: unpack, check in, count, verify, and scan barcodes following procedures.
• Stocking and shelf maintenance: keep shelves neat, properly labeled, and bins organized.
• Order fulfillment: pull items from shelves using pick sheets/scanners for customer pickup or driver delivery.
• Basic shipping and core returns: package shipments and core returns and assist with documentation.
• Internal customer support: provide helpful parts support to colleagues and business units.
• Housekeeping: perform routine facility upkeep and cleaning.
• Collaborate with team members and leadership to ensure positive customer experiences.
• Perform other duties to support the business as assigned.

What You'll Do Day-to-Day (Essential Duties & Responsibilities)

• Freight Receiving: Unpack, check in, count, verify, and scan barcodes on incoming branch freight under supervisor guidance, adhering to established intake procedures.
• Stocking & Shelf Maintenance: Stock parts shelves neatly and correctly; ensure parts are accurately sorted into assigned bins and properly labeled.
• Order Fulfillment: Pull parts orders from shelves accurately using pick sheets/scanners and stage items for customer pickup or driver delivery.
• Basic Shipping & Core Returns: Package basic shipments and core returns, assisting with necessary shipping documentation.
• Internal Customer Support: Maintain a positive, helpful attitude when providing parts support to internal customers and partnering business units.
• Other Duties: Perform routine housecleaning, basic facility upkeep, and other duties as assigned.
• Collaborate closely with team members and leadership to continuously cultivate positive experiences for our customers.
• Perform other dynamic duties and responsibilities as assigned to support business.

What We're Looking For (Qualifications & Skills)

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Entry level zero (0) years of experience.
• Prefer minimum of one (1) + year(s) of experience.
• Basic customer service skills and intermediate computer proficiency.

Salary Description
