Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a fast-paced warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment.
• Experience with shipping, receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
• Strong computer skills, including Google Workspace or similar applications.
• Ability to read and understand shipping documentation and safety procedures.
• Must speak and understand English for workplace safety.
• Willingness to work rotating schedules, weekends, and extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials.
• Pick, verify, prepare, and stage orders for shipment.
• Load flatbed trucks and trailers with proper weight distribution and safety procedures.
• Verify shipping documents, packing slips, and bills of lading for accuracy.
• Assist with inventory management, cycle counts, and FIFO inventory procedures.
• Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records.
• Inspect forklifts daily and report equipment concerns.
• Follow all workplace safety procedures, including hazardous materials handling.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Communicate with warehouse leadership regarding shipping priorities, inventory concerns, and needs.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and other warehouse duties as assigned.

Position Overview

United Talent Staffing is seeking an experienced Warehouse Coordinator for an immediate opportunity in Tuscaloosa, AL. This position is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including forklift operation, inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping, and receiving.

Qualifications

• Forklift operating experience required; forklift certification highly preferred.
• Experience with shipping, receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Google Workspace or similar applications.
• Ability to read and understand shipping documentation and safety procedures.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to speak and understand English for workplace safety.
• Must be available for rotating schedules, weekends, and extended hours as needed.

Physical & Safety Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical warehouse duties.
• Must wear long pants, long-sleeved shirts, and personally provided steel-toed safety footwear.
• Additional required personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided.
• Must successfully complete required background screening and a 10-panel drug test.
• Must provide acceptable employment eligibility documentation and complete the I-9/E-Verify process.
