Overview

Responsible for unloading freight from various trucking companies with or without manual or powered equipment at the assigned location at the direction of the Supervisor and Site Manager.

Responsibilities

• Unloading and breaking down freight at an adequate pace.
• Might be trained to operate forklift or electric pallet jack.
• Meet fast‑paced productivity goals and standards.
• Work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Work overtime, including weekends and holidays, without advanced notice.
• Reliably transport to and from work.
• Continuously move 50–75 pounds.

Physical Demands

• Use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear.
• Stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl regularly; sit and occasionally climb or balance.
• Lift and move up to 75 pounds frequently.
• Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus.

Education, Training, and Experience
