Job summary

Airlogix is hiring a Warehouse & Inventory Coordinator in Astoria, NY. This on-site role supports receiving, staging, and inventory control to ensure service crews have the right parts on time.

You’ll offload trucks, verify shipments, log data in ServiceTrade, and keep the warehouse organized and safe. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in warehouse operations, forklift/Pallet jack skills, and the ability to work independently with strong communication.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in warehouse, receiving, inventory, or distribution operations.
• OSHA 10 or higher certification is a strong plus.
• Forklift/Pallet jack capability required; training available.

Responsibilities

• Receive and offload inbound freight and verify against orders.
• Log received material in ServiceTrade the same day.
• Break down pallets and move freight using a forklift or pallet jack.
• Keep bins labeled and aisles clear; organize stock efficiently.
• Track outbound shipments, variances, and warehouse counts.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.

A technician who rolls out without the right part is a client sitting in a hot building or a kitchen that cannot open.This is a warehouse job, straight through. Freight lands and you check it, count it, and put it where it belongs. Technicians need material staged and you have it ready before they ask. The building stays clean and safe because you keep it that way. You are not buying material and you are not managing vendors. You are running the floor.What you will doReceiving and offloadingOffload inbound trucks and check freight against the order before you sign for itCatch short shipments, wrong material, and damage on the dock, not weeks laterLog received material in ServiceTrade the same dayBreak down pallets, move freight by forklift or pallet jack, put material away to a fixed, labeled locationOrganization and stock controlOwn the layout: bins labeled, aisles clear, fast-moving material where it belongsPull, stage, and kit parts, tools, and equipment by job so crews load fast and roll on timeTrack what leaves the building and who took itRun counts, investigate variances, and correct the countProcess outbound shipments, warranty claims, and core returnsSupport fleet and equipment tracking, including tools assigned out and due backThe buildingKeep the warehouse clean, swept, and safe every dayHandle trash, recycling, and general housekeepingMake minor repairs and flag anything you cannot fix before it becomes a shutdownOperate forklifts and pallet jacks safely. HVAC-R or mechanical supply is a strong plus, not a requirementForklift and pallet jack capability. This is daily work.
