Job summary

Opti Staffing is hiring a Warehouse Associate for a local HVAC company in Anchorage. This full-time, contract-to-hire position keeps the warehouse running: receiving, organizing, and getting the right parts to techs and job sites.

Responsibilities include stocking, picking, and staging materials; maintaining accurate inventory; and loading/unloading trucks with forklift support as available. The role often requires lifting up to 50 lbs and independent work.

Qualifications

• Warehouse, inventory, or stockroom experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stay active throughout the shift.
• Forklift certification a plus (or willingness to get certified).
• Reliable, organized, and comfortable working independently.
• HVAC/mechanical parts knowledge a bonus, not required.

• Receive, inspect, and stock incoming HVAC parts, materials, and equipment
• Pick and stage materials for scheduled jobs and technicians
• Keep inventory organized and accurately counted
• Load/unload trucks and operate warehouse equipment (forklift experience a plus)
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and cycle counts as needed
