Compensation

The base hourly rate for this position is $28.60.

Position Overview:

Schedule: Monday- Friday

Hours: Evening Shift

This position is responsible for communicating and supporting JM core values and delivering the JM experience.

The Warehouse Coordinator has overall responsibility for coordinating and managing assigned resources and employees to provide high quality service safely and efficiently. The Warehouse Supervisor oversees the entire flow of all materials into the warehouse, inventories, and customer order flow to ensure seamless delivery without quality or service failures.

Responsibilities:

• Perform shipping/receiving coordinator duties and responsibilities.
• Participate in managing plant recycling program.
• Ensure 100% compliance with all HAZMAT shipments, including labeling, Bill of Ladings, documentation, and record keeping.
• Manage inventory accurately, including cycle counts, physical locations, and goods movements.
• Determine efficient physical layout plans for warehouse storage.
• Understand all business procedures and SAP transactions related to inventory control, shipping, and receiving.
• Ensure accurate and efficient loading and unloading of trucks to guarantee 100% order accuracy.
• Plan and schedule work to optimize labor, materials, and equipment use.
• Communicate effectively with employees and leadership to meet service and customer requirements.
• Manage customer service requests and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Analyze operational metrics related to service and delivery.
• Ensure adherence to plant policies and safety procedures.
• Conduct training for hourly personnel and promote safety initiatives.
• Prepare reports on labor, materials, and equipment usage.
• Lead shift meetings and maintain good housekeeping in warehouse areas.
• Follow safety procedures, report hazards, and wear protective equipment.

Leadership Responsibilities:

• Supervise warehouse personnel and interact as a leader across departments.
• Lead pre-shift huddles and coach employees.
• Set and communicate objectives regularly.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• 2-10 Years Shipping/Warehouse Experience and Supervisory Skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to troubleshoot and handle multiple priorities/projects
• Basic knowledge of software programs (Spreadsheet, Word, Database)

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Lift, push, or pull at least 50 pounds safely
• Use of hands for repetitive motions
• Work safely in a fast-paced environment
• Work in dusty and temperature-variable environments
• Work rotating shifts of 8 or 12 hours
• Bend, stoop, kneel, reach above shoulder
