Job summary

CTG is seeking a warehouse/logistics specialist to handle receipt, dispatch, and verification of commodities in alignment with WFP standards and guidelines. You will support storage management, ensure accuracy of documents, and maintain confidential records.

You will conduct daily inventory reconciliation, inspect commodity quality, investigate discrepancies, and prepare loss reports with recommended corrective actions. Training and supervision of staff are included.

Qualifications

• Requires secondary education; post-secondary certificate or bachelor's degree desirable.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in logistics or warehouse operations.
• Experience in managing warehouses with food and NFIs.
• Experience in managing inventories and processing invoices.

Responsibilities

• Receive/dispatch commodities with accurate physical counts and documentation.
• Prepare, verify and sign warehouse documents and maintain records.
• Perform daily warehouse closing reconciliation and inventory checks.
• Investigate stock discrepancies, damages, missing quantities and report losses.
• Safeguard food and non-food commodities following standard procedures.
• Monitor warehouse conditions to support space-planning and organized storage.
• Provide on-the-job guidance and training to staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned by activity manager.
