Job summary

DSV - Global Transport and Logistics seeks a Material Handler - Clerk at our New Albany, OH location. The role focuses on timely and accurate handling of customer orders, input of order data, and maintaining shipping/receiving documentation in line with work instructions and customer requirements.

Responsibilities include processing orders, generating paperwork, expediting shipments as needed, maintaining customer communications, and handling clerical duties such as file maintenance and data

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• English (reading, writing, verbal).
• Basic computer skills and working knowledge of computerized applications (Microsoft Suites).

Responsibilities

• Process all customer orders in a timely and accurate manner.
• Generate all related paperwork and necessary information for customer orders, shipments, receipts, etc.
• Coordinate special, last minute shipping requests with operation department, expediting orders as necessary.
• Maintain a good working relationship with customers and respond to inquiries regarding receipts, shipments, or inventory counts.
• Oversee all paperwork associated with orders and maintain files.
