Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Newton, MS is seeking a Warehouse Clerk/Operator to support outbound operations, label control, yard coordination, and administrative tasks. Must be proficient with Excel and comfortable with data entry and reporting.

The role requires 1–3 years in inventory control or warehousing admin, and the ability to lift up to 20 pounds. Shift is Thursday–Saturday with Wednesday rotation; pay is $22 per hour with full-time hours and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1–3 years’ experience in inventory control or warehousing admin.
• Proficiency with Excel and MS Office applications.
• Ability to work in unregulated warehouse temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Label control: prepare, distribute, reprint labels for carton/pallet pickers and track usage.
• Yard coordination: communicate outbound pulls to yard drivers and ensure trailer safety procedures.
• Administrative functions: data entry for shipments, print BOLs, schedule LTL pickups, file paperwork.
• Safety & housekeeping: maintain clean work area, follow OSHA/MSDS standards, report issues promptly.
• Other duties: operate RF scanners, use powered equipment, and perform overtime as needed.
