Golden State Foods is hiring for a Seattle, WA warehouse clerk. This on-site, full-time role supports purchasing, inventory, and warehouse operations by coordinating inbound shipments, maintaining receiving records, and ensuring inventory accuracy. You will work closely with vendors and internal teams to keep processes efficient and accurate.

The position begins with a 6:00 a.m. start, four-day, 10-hour shifts (Sun-Wed).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two to four years of relevant purchasing, receiving, inventory, or warehouse administrative experience preferred.
• Experience with inventory control and order processing systems preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate inbound receiving appointments to ensure timely delivery of products and materials.
• Review invoices and shipment documentation for accuracy, pricing, product quality, and discrepancies.
• Monitor inbound shipments and follow up on delivery issues with vendors and carriers.
• Generate, maintain, and reconcile daily and weekly receiving reports.
• Track inventory-related information and support inventory accuracy initiatives.
• Communicate with suppliers to resolve product, packaging, freight, and delivery concerns.
• Maintain accurate records within inventory and purchasing systems.
• Partner with warehouse, purchasing, and operations teams to support customer needs.

QCD Seattle - Warehouse Clerk

In This Role, You'll:

• Maintain accurate records within inventory and purchasing systems
• Partner with warehouse, purchasing, and operations teams to support customer needs
• Follow company policies, food safety requirements, and workplace safety procedures
• Perform additional administrative and operational support duties as assigned

What You'll Bring:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Two to four years of relevant purchasing, receiving, inventory, or warehouse administrative experience preferred
• Experience with inventory control and order processing systems preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to organize multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math and analytical skills
• Certified forklift operator experience preferred
• Commitment to delivering excellent customer service and maintaining accuracy

The Schedule & Setting:

• Full-time position beginning at 6:00 a.m.
• Four-day, 10-hour schedule (Sunday through Wednesday)
• This is a fully on-site warehouse and office support position
• Regular interaction with vendors, carriers, and internal operations teams
• Fast-paced distribution operation supporting customer requirements
• Weekends and holidays may be included in the regular schedule
• Overtime is required when operational needs arise and may extend the scheduled shift

Pay & Benefits:

• Pay Rate (Base Pay): $26.13 per hour
• Weekly pay (every Friday)
• Other Compensation: May include overtime pay, bonuses, shift differentials, or other incentive pay as applicable to the position and location
