Job summary

CSAT Solutions is currently seeking a Warehouse Clerk in Houston, TX. The role involves recording material movement, data entry, filing documents, and verifying incoming quantities while maintaining a safe work environment.

You will assist material handlers, support ISO 9001 compliance, and perform other duties as needed. Candidates should have a high school diploma and at least 2 years in data entry, with basic Excel and warehouse systems knowledge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2+ years data entry experience preferred.
• Able to use pallet jacks and carts.
• Email and basic Excel knowledge.
• Working knowledge of warehouse management systems preferred.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methods preferred.
• Must be able to work in fast-paced team environment with close supervision.
• Intermediate English abilities required.
• Ability to follow documented procedures, standards and policies.

Responsibilities

• Performs data entry electronically; reports daily material movement, purge requests, pre-alert entries, customer web entries, transfers, etc.
• Completes filing of material documents
• Systematically records the movement of material from order request forms and/or transfer sheets
• Systematically receives and verifies quantities of incoming materials
• Performs warehouse duties such as cleaning, sweeping and organizing materials to maintain a safe working environment
• Assists material handlers and other personnel in the movement of materials
• Responsible for meeting ISO 9001 and/or other quality system requirements in their department
• May perform other duties as assigned

Education, Training and Skills

• Working knowledge of warehouse management systems preferred
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methods preferred
• Must be able to work in fast-paced team environment with close supervision
• Intermediate English abilities required
• Ability to follow documented procedures, standards and policies

Working Conditions and Essential Abilities & Functions

• Warehouse environment (may not be climate-controlled)
• Lift/carry up to 20 lbs.
• Push/pull up to 50 lbs.li>
• Stand/walk for 8 hours
• Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, and crouching
