Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Cedar Rapids, IA is hiring a Case Picker Associate to join a clean, well‑run warehouse environment. The role supports safe, efficient order fulfillment and inventory control on a team-focused floor.

Starting pay is $20.00 per hour with $2.00 extra on the second shift; overtime is $30.00 per hour. Shift is 2nd: Mon-Fri 4:45pm–1:15am, with comprehensive benefits and training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 1+ year warehouse experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Adequate math skills required
• Able to read location and product codes
• Commitment to GMP and safety practices

Responsibilities

• Pick product and case pick.
• Palletize, hand stack and stretch wrap as required.
• Safely operate material handling equipment.
• Assist in cycle counting and inventory control.
• Resolve inventory discrepancies as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more previous warehouse experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Must have adequate math skills
• Able to recognize and read location codes and product codes
• Meet and exceed established Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
• Capable of multi‑tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
• Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices
