Ryder is hiring a Case Picker Associate in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career you can feel good about.

Warehouse positions pay weekly with $20.00 per hour base, $2.00 per hour for second shift, and $30.00 per hour overtime. Shift: 2nd shift, Mon-Fri 4:45pm-1:15am. Duties include case picking, palletizing, and inventory tasks across the US.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year of warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to read location codes and product codes.
• Meet GMP requirements and standards.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized.
• Detail oriented with strong follow-up practices.

Responsibilities

• Picking product and case pick.
• Palletize, hand stack and stretch wrap product as required.
• Safely operate material handling equipment.
• Assist in cycle counting and inventory control as required.
• Assist in resolving inventory discrepancies as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more previous warehouse experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Must have adequate math skills
• Able to recognize and read location codes and product codes
• Meet and exceed established Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
• Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
• Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices
