Job summary

FARO Cargo Handling Solutions is seeking Full Time Warehouse Agents in Illinois to handle cargo movements, inventory control, and shipping preparation. Pay ranges from $19.10 to $21.00 per hour, with industry experience and direct hire offered.

Shifts include Import, Export, and Overnight options, plus a $300 referral bonus per person. Responsibilities include moving cargo within the warehouse, inspecting for damages, maintaining inventory, and ensuring safety procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Forklift experience preferred but not required.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Must be able to lift and carry 30-50lbs, occasional 70lbs with assistance.
• Background check will be required.
• Valid Driver’s License highly preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Move cargo shipments within the warehouse.
• Maintain inventory of products; restock as needed.
• Inspect cargo for damages; report as needed.
• Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment.
• Receive and sort/store incoming pallets or containers.
• Prepare pallets and containers for shipping.
• Follow all safety protocol and warehouse procedures.
• May be required to learn to drive a forklift.

We are looking for Full Time Warehouse Agents to join our team! $19.10-$21.00 with Industry Applicable Experience.Direct Hire!

IMPORT SHIFT: 7:00AM-3:30PM AND 11AM-7:30PM

EXPORT SHIFT: 6:00AM-2:30PM AND 2:00PM-10:30PM

OVERNIGHT: 11:00 pm -07:30 am

REFERRAL BONUS- $300.00 Per Person (Paid in increments within 3 MONTHS)

Warehouse Agent Duties and Responsibilities:

• Move cargo shipments within the warehouse
• Maintain inventory of products; restock as needed
• Inspect cargo for damages; report as needed
• Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment
• Receive and appropriately sort and store incoming pallets or containers
• Prepare pallets and containers for shipping
• Follow all safety protocol and warehouse procedures
• May be required to learn to drive a forklift

Warehouse Associate Skills and Qualifications:

• Must be able to breakdown and tie up pallets
• Forklift Experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Must be able to lift and carry 30-50lbs and on occasion 70lbs with some assistance.
• High school diploma preferred
• Valid Driver’s License highly preferred but not required.
• Work experience in a warehouse setting preferred.
• Familiarity with the use of hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other necessary warehouse equipment
• Ability to skillfully and safely operate a forklift
• Good working knowledge of warehouse data systems
• Solid communication skills and inventory skills
• Must be able to pass a background check with U.S. Customs and Immigration.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare airline and customs documentation
• Comply with company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and policies
• Ensure paperwork is prepared timely and accurately
• Make sure paperwork related to the Cargo is correct before release
• Assure proper compliance with local and international laws and regulations
• Follow Dangerous Goods Requirements and Regulations
• Comply with other general office duties as assigned
