Job summary

Commergence in Tennessee is seeking an experienced Warehouse Business Analyst with deep WMS expertise to lead requirements, process optimization, and WMS implementations. You will collaborate with stakeholders across operations, IT, and ERP/OMS/TMS integrations to document BRDs/FRDs and drive data-driven improvements.

• Strong SQL and data analysis skills
• Agile/Scrum experience
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Business Analyst with strong expertise in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, warehouse operations, and technical teams to gather requirements, optimize warehouse processes, and support WMS implementations and enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for WMS solutions.
• Collaborate with warehouse operations, supply chain, and IT teams to improve warehouse processes.
• Support WMS implementations, enhancements, testing, and production support.
• Analyze inbound, outbound, inventory, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and replenishment processes.
• Create business process flows, functional specifications, user stories, and process documentation.
• Coordinate UAT, defect tracking, and end-user training.
• Work with cross-functional teams to integrate WMS with ERP, OMS, TMS, and other enterprise applications.
• Support data analysis, reporting, and process improvement initiatives.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of Business Analyst experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, fulfillment and logistics.
• Experience with WMS platforms such as Manhattan, Blue Yonder (JDA), Körber/HighJump, SAP EWM, Oracle WMS, or similar.
• Experience creating BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process maps, and functional documentation.
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Retail, eCommerce, or Supply Chain domains.
• Knowledge of ERP, OMS, TMS, and system integrations.
• Experience with API, EDI, and reporting tools is a plus.
