UNIS is seeking a Senior WMS Business Analyst to optimize our Warehouse Management System and drive efficiency across operations in Buena Park, CA. You will analyze business needs, gather requirements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement WMS enhancements and integration projects.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of BA experience in warehousing or logistics, strong SQL/Excel skills, and hands-on experience with PM tools (Jira/Trello/Asana) and Confluence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, IT, or related field.
• 5+ years as a business analyst in warehousing or logistics.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Strong understanding of WMS functionalities and processes.
• Proficient in SQL, Excel, or similar analytics tools.
• Familiarity with databases and SQL for data analysis and validation.
• Ability to interpret system architecture diagrams and APIs.
• PM/issue tracking experience with Jira, Trello, Asana.
• Documentation & collaboration tools such as Confluence, SharePoint, MS Office Suite.

The Senior WMS Business Analyst will play a critical role in optimizing the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to enhance operational efficiency and ensure the seamless integration of systems. This individual will analyze business needs, gather requirements, and collaborate cross‑functionally to implement solutions that drive performance improvements. The ideal candidate will possess in‑depth knowledge of warehouse operations and WMS best practices, as well as exceptional analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current warehouse systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and system optimization
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define business requirements for WMS enhancements
• Develop and maintain documentation of business processes, requirements, and system configurations
• Create detailed project plans and timelines to ensure efficient implementation of WMS projects
• Lead cross‑functional project teams in the execution of initiatives and solutions related to WMS
• Conduct user training sessions and create user manuals for WMS functionalities
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting of WMS‑related issues to internal teams
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide training and support to warehouse staff as needed

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Information Technology, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience as a business analyst in a warehousing or logistics environment
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong understanding of WMS functionalities and processes
• Proficient in using analytical tools like SQL, Excel, or similar
• Familiarity with databases and SQL for data analysis and validation
• Ability to interpret system architecture diagrams and APIs
