Job summary

Staples in Kansas City seeks Warehouse associates for a range of roles in our Supply Chain Team. You will operate material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, cherry pickers) to move and stage product up to 100 lbs and support daily warehouse tasks.

Roles include Bulk/Material Handling, Porter, Replenishment, Receiving/Putaway/Returns, and Shipping. We offer pay-for-performance, safety-first culture, and full-time/part-time benefits; overtime may be required and you must be 18+ with

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) months related experience in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to pass a drug screen to the extent permissible legally.
• Basic English language skills (both verbal and written communications).
• If you are hired as a Full-Time associate, you must have the ability to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift; overtime hours may be required based on business need.
• Ability to work at heights up to 60 feet or more as needed.
• An ability to lift, push or pull boxes/merchandise weighing between 70 pounds and 100 pounds by hand.
• Must wear safety composite shoes.
• Ability to walk and stand 100% of the time.
• You must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, or electric pallet jacks to move product within the warehouse while adhering to safety procedures.
• Unloading trucks and palletizing products, ensuring accuracy and addressing discrepancies.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external contacts to resolve issues.
• Assist with receiving/putaway/returns processes and ensure a safe work environment.
• Move products within the warehouse and maintain cleanliness and organization.
