Job summary

Staples is seeking a Warehouse Associate (SC2) in a fast-paced distribution environment in the United States. You’ll rotate through six roles including Bulk/Material Handling Equipment Operator, Porter, Replenishment, Receiving/Putaway/Returns, Returns, and Shipping, with safety and efficiency at the core.

You may be moved to other SC1 roles as needed. The job emphasizes safe work practices, teamwork, and operating equipment while meeting productivity targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum three months related experience in a warehouse environment
• Ability to pass a drug screen where legally permissible
• Basic English language skills (verbal and written)
• Overtime hours may be required for full-time associates
• Ability to lift and move boxes/merchandise weighing 70–100 lbs
• Must be 18 years or older

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment like forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets or pallet jacks to pick and move products up to 100 lbs
• Perform general cleaning and basic maintenance in and around the facility
• Replenish inventory and move product within the warehouse
• Receive/putaway/return items; verify accuracy and address discrepancies
• Process returns, matching quantities to packing slips and tagging items
• Organize, stack, shrink-wrap and load customer orders for trucks
