Job summary

thyssenkrupp Materials NA is seeking a warehouse associate to support storage and shipping of raw material and finished products. The role involves sorting, stocking, packing orders, operating forklifts and cranes, and assisting machine operators on the floor.

A safety-minded candidate will maintain equipment, complete paperwork, and help train others. This position is on the warehouse floor around heavy machinery and is identified as safety sensitive.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic math.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to use scanning technology.
• Demonstrates safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Sort, stack, clean, wash, stock and inspect cartons, pallets or parts.
• Fill and package orders and complete paperwork as instructed.
• Operate cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment to move stock.
• Assist machine operators and support the operation as needed.
• Perform general clean-up and maintain equipment in working condition; report issues promptly.
• Train others when required and support Lean initiatives.
• Work on the warehouse floor around heavy machinery.
