Job summary

Nimble Robotics is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead the buildout and retrofit of warehouse fulfillment center sites that house our automation systems. You will own projects from pre-construction through hand off to our operations team, coordinating contractors, engineers, and internal teams to deliver facilities on schedule and on budget.

Qualifications

  • 3–7 years of PM experience in commercial, industrial, or warehouse construction.
  • Experience managing projects independently from pre-construction through closeout.
  • Knowledge of construction documents, budgets, schedules (MS Project or similar), and contract structures (AIA, GC/CM).
  • Ability to read full construction drawing sets (architectural, structural, electrical, mechanical, civil).
  • Familiarity with warehouse building systems (electrical, mechanical, structural, fire/life safety).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills; able to manage multiple contractors and stakeholders.
  • Travel is expected to maintain onsite presence throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Manage construction projects for new warehouse buildouts and existing facility retrofits from design through completion and closeout.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and scopes of work; track progress against milestones and flag risks early.
  • Act as the general contractor on assigned sites, serving as the primary contact for subcontractors, architects, and engineers.
  • Organize and run project meetings such as kickoffs, progress checks, and coordination meetings.
  • Work with internal departments to keep deliverables on track to meet deadlines.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor quality, safety, and schedule adherence.
  • Own the permit submission process: coordinate with PEs, AHJs, submit permits, and coordinate inspections.
  • Support bidding, selection, and contract negotiation with vendors and contractors.
  • Maintain clear project documentation and status reporting for stakeholders.
  • Identify and resolve conflicts between construction scope and operational needs.
  • Respond to issues raised by onsite contractors to avoid delays.
  • Work with Accounting to process purchase orders.
  • Manage smaller-scope projects independently from issue to completion.
  • Coordinate with warehouse operations to schedule installations and retrofits.
