Job summary

Coke Northeast is seeking a Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain assets within the automated warehouse. You will identify and fix issues in automation equipment to keep machinery operating efficiently and safely.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of industrial maintenance experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work nights or weekends as needed. A technical degree is preferred and PLC knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical degree in Industrial Maintenance or Engineering preferred.
• 1-3 years of Industrial Maintenance experience required.
• Knowledge of PLCs preferred.
• Demonstrated mechanical, technical and electrical aptitude.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills.
• Must be able to use a laptop or tablet to fix errors.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends or other irregular hours as required by business needs.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and machinery parts up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform immediate repairs.
• Schedule and conduct preventive maintenance.
• Perform electrical, pneumatic and mechanical repairs on automation equipment.
• Generate and complete work orders as assigned.
• Overhaul and install new equipment.
• Rebuild and fabricate parts.
• Manage parts inventory to ensure adequate inventory.
• Perform equipment change-overs and production line set-ups.
• Maintain clean and safe work area at all times.
• Protect the integrity and quality of product at all times.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
