Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support plant operations on high-speed manufacturing equipment. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues, and participate in root cause analysis on end-to-end processes.

You will use SAP to manage work orders, read schematics, and follow TPM/LEAN guidelines while maintaining a safe, efficient production environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of work experience required.
• Maintenance background with strong mechanical systems knowledge (machine components, pneumatics, basic electrical).
• Ability to read schematics, P&ID diagrams, and parts drawings.
• Familiarity with automated systems; SAP experience preferred.
• LEAN principles and TPM/AM pillar tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical and basic electrical systems and modules, including disassembly, cleaning, reassembly, and calibration.
• Analyze equipment breakdowns, diagnose malfunctions, and restore operation; escalate complex issues as needed.
• Troubleshoot with input from Operational Technicians to repair equipment within defined scope.
• Use SAP to create work orders for maintenance, PMs, and part requests.
• Follow safety, quality, and environmental policies; maintain clean, organized work areas per 5S and GMP.
• Continuously improve technical and soft skills to better support the facility and team.
