Job summary

Raymond West is seeking an Application Engineer to join our Systems team. You will advise on automation applications, install software, train end-users, and support interfaces between software and warehouse equipment (AS/RS, AGV, PIT).

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and knowledge of materials handling automation, with travel 50–60% and collaboration with sales and customers to deliver end-to-end warehouse solutions.

Qualifications

• Engineering background with 5+ years in application, design, and installation of mechanical systems.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with materials handling automation and WMS/WCS interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Develop estimates with RW Sales for proposals.
• Provide technical software sales support and design routes for AGV/ASRS/PIT systems.
• Install and train end-user Power Pick Global, Supervisor software, and iWarehouse Suite.
• Manage software renewals and process purchase orders with partners.
• Coordinate on-site activities with contractors and customers and ensure on-time execution.
