Job summary

Raymond West is seeking an Application Engineer to join our Systems team. You will handle end‑user concepting, technical planning, and field support for warehouse automation equipment, including AS/RS, AGVs, and PITs.

You’ll install software, train end users, and work with sales to prepare specifications and demonstrations. Travel 50–60% is required; engineering background with 5+ years in application/design/installation is expected.

Qualifications

• Engineering background with 5+ years in application, design and installation of mechanical systems.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or Computer Science preferred.
• Willingness to travel 50–60% (20–30 hours a week) and be insured by Raymond West.
• Valid, unrestricted driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Advise automation applications and create software/controls specifications.
• Install software and automation equipment at customer sites and provide training.
• Develop estimates with vendors and RW Sales as needed.
• Support integration of Power Pick Global, Supervisor software, and iWarehouse Suite.
• Coordinate on-site activities with multiple contractors and ensure schedule integrity.
