Job summary

Raymond West in Auburn, WA is seeking an Application Engineer to join our Systems teams. This is a technical role handling end-user concepting, planning, software/controls, testing, field support, installation, and post-installation support for automated equipment and interfaces with warehouse management software.

You will work with AS/RS, AGVs, and PIT, coordinating with sales and customers. Training end-users and license renewals are part of the role, with a focus on warehouse automation

Qualifications

Engineering background with 5+ years' experience in application, design, and installation of mechanical systems or equivalent.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering; Computer Science preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop storage and automation design concepts based on customer requirements.
Coordinate with vendors, sales, and installers to ensure integration of software and controls.
Install, train end-users, and support software licenses for Power Pick Global, iWarehouse, and related systems.
Create and maintain project schedules, test plans, and acceptance criteria.
Support on-site activities with multiple subcontractors, ensuring safety and compliance.
