• We have an opening for a full-time WAREHOUSE ATTENDANT position.
• Location: Pfizer Inc - 558 Eastern Point Road, Groton, CT 06340. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time; Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Prior forklift, wave lift, PIV, warehouse, and/or GMP facility experience preferred.
• Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Receives, stores, and distributes materials, tools, equipment, and products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Read production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Convey materials from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
• Place materials/goods on racks, shelves, and bins or in refrigerated rooms according to predetermined sequences such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distribute to production workers or the assembly line.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place on pallets or shelves; convey orders to packing or shipping departments.
• Mark materials with identifying information.
• Open bales, crates, and other containers.
• Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
• Weigh or count items for distribution to ensure conformance to standards.
• Arrange stock parts in specified sequences for assembly.
• Use computer to enter records.
• Compile worksheets or tickets based on customer specifications.
• Drive vehicle to transport stored or picked-up items.
• Complete requisition forms to order supplies from other departments.
• Prepare parcels for mailing.
• Maintain inventory records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures following HACCP standards.
• Prioritize safety for yourself and others.
• Follow all company policies, including the use of gloves when handling knives, peelers, or cleaning slicers; oven mitts or gloves when handling hot items; slip-resistant shoes; and proper lifting techniques.
