Job Opening: Warehouse Attendant

We have a full-time opening for a Warehouse Attendant at Pfizer Inc, located at 558 Eastern Point Road, Groton, CT 06340. Online applications are accepted only.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. Additional details will be provided during the interview.

Requirements: Prior experience with forklift, wave lift, PIV, warehouse, and/or GMP facilities is preferred.

Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Receives, stores, and distributes materials, tools, equipment, and products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Read production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Convey materials from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
• Place materials/goods on racks, shelves, bins, or in refrigerated rooms according to predetermined sequences such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distribute them to production workers or the assembly line.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves; convey orders to packing or shipping departments.
• Mark materials with identifying information.
• Open bales, crates, and other containers.
• Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
• Weigh or count items for distribution to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Arrange stock parts in specified sequences for assembly.
• Use computer systems to enter records.
• Compile worksheets or tickets based on customer specifications.
• Drive vehicles to transport or pick up items.
• Complete requisition forms to order supplies from other departments.
• Prepare parcels for mailing.
• Maintain inventory records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures following HACCP standards.
• Commit to personal safety and the safety of others.
• Follow all company policies and procedures, including the use of protective gloves, oven mitts, slip-resistant shoes, and proper lifting techniques.
