Job Opening: Warehouse Attendant

We have an opening for a full-time Warehouse Attendant position.

Location: Pfizer Groton - 558 Eastern Point Road, Groton, CT 06340. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time; Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. More details upon interview.

Requirement: Prior warehouse experience preferred.

Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Receive, store, and distribute materials, tools, equipment, and products.

Responsibilities include:

• Reading schedules and orders to determine items to move or gather.
• Conveying materials from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
• Organizing materials on racks, shelves, or in refrigerated rooms based on size, type, or product code.
• Filling requisitions and distributing items to production or shipping.
• Assembling customer orders and preparing them for shipping.
• Marking materials with identification info.
• Handling containers and recording inventory movements.
• Weighing or counting items for distribution.
• Using computers to record data and compile worksheets.
• Driving vehicles to transport or pick up items.
• Maintaining inventory records and performing other duties as assigned.

Safety and Policies

Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and temperature maintenance following HACCP standards. Personal safety is a priority, including use of gloves, oven mitts, slip-resistant shoes, and proper lifting techniques. Abide by all company policies and procedures.
