Job summary

Cardinal Health seeks a Warehouse Operations associate in Fort Worth, TX to handle inbound/outbound tasks, palletizing, and order picking in a climate-controlled facility. The role involves rotating duties across Inbound, Replenishment, and Outbound processes and requires attention to detail and safety compliance.

Applicants should be able to lift up to 70 lbs, work in a fast-paced environment, and be willing to work 12-hour shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
• 1-2 years related experience preferred.
• Ability to consistently lift up to 70 lbs and stand for entire shift.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts as needed with limited notice.
• Work at heights up to 25-30 feet.
• Follow safety regulations and wear PPE (steel-toed shoes, safety harness).
• RF scanner experience or voice-pick experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound trucks using pallet jack to move pallets.
• Use Manhattan WMS to check in products; store refrigerated items per regulations.
• Store and organize products in warehouse locations and stock/replenish as needed.
• Pick products and load onto outbound trucks; label correctly.
• Cross-train in Inbound, Replenishment and Outbound.
• Operate PIT equipment and palletize/ wrap large items for shipment.
• Drive MHE as required (order picker, forklift, reach truck, turret, pallet jack).

This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.ResponsibilitiesUnloading trucks in the Inbound section by using a pallet jack or equivalent devices to put pallets out of the trucks.Using Manhattan Warehouse Management System to check in products. If working with specialty products, must follow regulations to store refrigerated products.Storing products in warehouse locations using order picker or other devices.Picking products from warehouse locations and loads into outbound trucks.Cross-training in multiple departments: Inbound, Replenishment and OutboundBreaking down cases of product and operate PIT equipment to stock or replenish warehouseUtilizing voice to pick system to pick large case items with material handling equipment or to pick small unit of measure items and place on cartEnsuring high quality through attention to detail and correctly identify products by item numberOrganizing and segregate similar items at point of receiptBreaking down and palletizing large items to skid and wrap for shipmentPacking and correctly label small items in boxes or bagsDriving material handling equipment as required by job duty.
