Job Description: Oversee warehouse operations to increase company profitability and customer satisfaction. Manage the day-to-day operations of the distribution center, including forecasting, strategy execution, and staffing. Ensure all work is performed safely, securely, efficiently, and cost-effectively, in compliance with company policies, OSHA, and other regulations.
Provide direction and guidance to team members to ensure daily productivity and quality standards are met.
Establish and evaluate work procedures that support Galls, LLC and departmental standards. Continuously improve processes and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
Assist in personnel decisions, including training and performance evaluations of associates.
Address disciplinary and performance issues according to company policy.
Schedule sufficient manpower to meet operational goals.
Ensure associates are properly trained, coached, and equipped to perform their tasks efficiently and effectively, including cross-training in various areas.
Maintain effective communication within the warehouse and with other departments.
Provide regular performance feedback to team members to maximize performance.
Troubleshoot issues as they arise and implement effective resolutions.
Maintain spreadsheets to track key business metrics.
