Job Responsibilities

1. Supervise 2 MSDH pharmacy warehouse technicians, including assigning work, reviewing records for accuracy, and ensuring SOP compliance.
2. Identify facility maintenance needs, coordinate inspections, and liaise with vendors for repairs and maintenance.
3. Review inventory counts, analyze burn rates, and manage reorder requests or returns; report data for pharmacy CQI programs.
4. Serve as backup to pharmacy warehouse technicians, handling medication storage, processing requests, labeling, recording distribution, and supporting pharmacy programs.
5. Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and walkie pallet trucks.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered pharmacy technician with the MS Board of Pharmacy.
• Knowledge of cold-chain shipping and complex pharmacy supplies.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent with 3-5 years of experience. Registration as a pharmacy technician with the MS Board of Pharmacy is required.
