Job summary

Taylor Metal Products, a leading manufacturer of steel roofing and siding components, is hiring a Warehouse Associate. You will assist in manufacturing, packaging, and warehouse logistics to meet quality and customer standards.

The role requires basic math, the ability to read tape measures, and comfort standing for long periods while lifting up to 50 lbs. Forklift operation is a key part of daily tasks, with in-house certification possible.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent preferred.
• Basic math skills.
• Written communication skills.
• 3-6 mos. manufacturing or warehouse exp. preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred (will certify in-house).

Responsibilities

• Operate hand-tools and equipment as directed.
• Visually inspect products for quality and defects.
• Take and follow verbal directions from supervisors.
• Stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs frequently.
• Drive a forklift to move materials around the warehouse.
• Read tape measures to verify dimensions.
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
• Assist in other departments on occasion as needed.
