Job summary

Taylor Metal Products in Salem, OR is seeking a Warehouse Associate for the Swing Shift to support manufacturing, packaging, and warehouse logistics for high-end steel roofing and siding components.

You will operate hand-tools, inspect quality, read tape measures, follow verbal directions, stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, drive forklift, and maintain compliance with company policies. Some cross-department support may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic math skills required.
• Written communication skills required.
• Able to read a tape measure.
• 3–6 months of manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred (will certify in-house).

Responsibilities

• Operate hand-tools as needed in the warehouse.
• Visually inspect product for quality control and defects.
• Take and follow verbal directions from supervisors.
• Stand for long periods during shifts.
• Lift up to 50 lbs on a frequent basis.
• Drive forklift and move materials safely.
• Read a tape measure for job accuracy.
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
• Occasionally assist in other departments as needed.
