Job summary

QXO, a leading building products distributor and installer, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse and yard operations by safely handling, organizing, and preparing materials for customers and deliveries. You’ll operate forklifts and other equipment, maintain accurate inventory and order documentation, and help ensure a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.

• Proficiency operating forklifts and heavy equipment.
• Prior warehouse experience preferred.
• Strong commitment to safety and accuracy.
• Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and yard.
• Work outdoors with exposure to varying weather conditions.
• Verify order contents and maintain accurate documentation, including pick tickets and inventory count sheets.
• Inspect, organize, maintain, and track inventory.
• Demonstrate a daily commitment to safety and adhere to safety protocols, wearing PPE.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, including basic cleaning and painting as needed.
