Job summary

QXO is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Nashville to support daily warehouse and yard operations, safely handling, organizing, and preparing building materials for customers and deliveries. You will operate forklifts, maintain accurate inventory, and ensure a clean, safe work environment.

Responsibilities include loading and unloading with heavy equipment, outdoor work in varying weather, and meticulous documentation.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience preferred.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Customer-first mindset with strong communication.
• Safety-focused with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and yard
• Work outdoors with exposure to varying weather conditions
• Verify order contents and maintain accurate documentation, including pick tickets and inventory count sheets
• Inspect, organize, maintain, and track inventory
• Demonstrate a daily commitment to safety and adhere diligently to all safety protocols, while always wearing appropriate PPE
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, including general cleaning and painting as needed

What you'll do:

As a Warehouse Associate at QXO, you’ll support daily warehouse and yard operations by safely handling, organizing, and preparing building materials for customers and deliveries. You’ll operate forklifts and other equipment, maintain accurate inventory and order documentation, and help ensure a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.

• Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and yard
• Work outdoors with exposure to varying weather conditions
