Job summary

QXO is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse and yard operations, safely handling, organizing, and preparing building materials for customers and deliveries. You will operate forklifts and other equipment, maintain inventory, and ensure a clean, safe work environment.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, verifying orders, maintaining documentation, and assisting with packing and customer pickups.

Qualifications

• Experience in handling building materials is preferred.
• Ability to verify orders and maintain accurate documentation.
• Capable of operating forklifts and other heavy equipment safely.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong safety mindset and adherence to PPE.
• Good teamwork and communication.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and heavy equipment to load, unload, and move materials.
• Support daily warehouse operations and yard activities.
• Verify order contents and maintain pick tickets and inventory records.
• Inspect and organize inventory, maintain a clean and safe workspace.
• Assist with packing, staging customer orders, and loading trucks.
• Maintain safety protocols and report hazards.
