S&S Activewear is hiring a Warehouse Associate II - Receiving Associate in Lockport, IL. You will unload trucks, organize inventory, and support the automated picking system. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and efficient product flow through the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Perform and complete daily safety inspections checklist for all equipment used.
• Effectively utilize/operate the data collection equipment (RF Scanners, Tablets).
• Perform discrepancy counts and cycle counts as assigned.
• Unload/Load Trailers.
• Provide support to other functions within the department (Case Pick, Restock, transfer, pulling, staging, checking).
• Maintain productivity by meeting count per hour (CPH).

About The Role

The Warehouse Associate II - Receiving Associate at S&S is responsible for multiple tasks throughout the warehouse. They will primarily be responsible for unloading product off trucks, using hands and arms in handling and following safety and related work procedures. Aside from unloading trucks, his/her job description also entails properly arranging or storing of items, attaches identifying labels or inbound cases. They are responsible for maintaining an organized workstation to assist with streamlining of products to their final destinations within our Automated system. They may assist with training of new hires, delivering and receiving product from the conveyor systems; interfacing with customers; processing of received goods; replenishing product within our automated picking system; fulfilling customer orders; reviewing and packing the orders to verify accuracy and ensure that the product is up to shipping standards.

$21.12 hourly

Monday-Friday (4:30AM-1:00PM), Full-Time, Non-Exempt

What You Will Do

• Provide assistance support to all other functions within the department such as Case Pick, Restock, transfer, pulling, staging and checking.
• Maintain or exceed minimum productivity requirements CPH – count per hour.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This position requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching and handling of items up to 50 lbs. Moderate hand-eye coordination, near vision, far vision and hearing are required for the operation of warehouse machinery.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

Employee must be able to work in a high-volume, high-demand environment while meeting strenuous customer deadlines. Employee must be able to change priorities or job duties as needed and interact with employees at all levels.

• The job will be performed entirely in the warehouse where conditions can range from warm to cool.
• The job will be performed around warehouse machines and equipment with a moderate level of noise.
