S&S Activewear, LLC is seeking a Warehouse Associate II - Receiving Associate for an onsite full-time role in Lockport, IL. You will unload trucks, store items, label inbound cases, and support the automated picking system to ensure timely, accurate order fulfillment.

Key duties include operating material handling equipment, performing safety inspections, counting and reconciling inventory, and assisting with training and cross-functional support.

About the Role

The Warehouse Associate II - Receiving Associate at S&S is responsible for multiple tasks throughout the warehouse. They will primarily be responsible for unloading product off trucks, using hands and arms in handling and following safety and related work procedures. Aside from unloading trucks, his/her job description also entails properly arranging or storing of items, attaches identifying labels or inbound cases. They are responsible for maintaining an organized workstation to assist with streamlining of products to their final destinations within our Automated system. They may assist with training of new hires, delivering and receiving product from the conveyor systems; interfacing with customers; processing of received goods; replenishing product within our automated picking system; fulfilling customer orders; reviewing and packing the orders to verify accuracy and ensure that the product is up to shipping standards.

COMPENSATION AND SCHEDULE

$21.12 hourly Monday-Friday (4:30AM-1:00PM), Full-Time, Non-Exempt Onsite: 16427 West Prologis Parkway - Lockport, IL 60441

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Operate all material handling equipment needed to perform primary role (order picker cart).
• Perform and complete daily safety inspections check list for all equipment used.
• Effectively utilize/operate and navigate the data collection equipment used in the department (RF Scanners, Tablets, etc.)
• Perform discrepancy counts, recounts and user created cycle counts as assigned and directed.
• Unload/Load Trailers
• Provide assistance support to all other functions within the department such as Case Pick, Restock, transfer, pulling, staging and checking.
• Maintain or exceed minimum productivity requirements CPH – count per hour.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Must be 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to read and speak English
• Must have reliable transportation
• Ability to follow detailed instructions
• Ability to operate a warehouse equipment and machinery
• Must be comfortable using electronic devices
• Can lift and carry up to 50lbs on occasion with or without reasonable accommodation
• Basic math skills, ability to count, add, and subtract numbers quickly and accurately
• Ability to identify colors, sizes, quantity, label, and SKU information
• Must be flexible with start and departure time changing
• Ability to work overtime when needed
• Ability to work independently without close supervision
• Responsible for any additional duties assigned

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This position requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching and handling of items up to 50 lbs. Moderate hand-eye coordination, near vision, far vision and hearing are required for the operation of warehouse machinery. Employee must be able to work in a high-volume, high-demand environment while meeting strenuous customer deadlines. Employee must be able to change priorities or job duties as needed and interact with employees at all levels. The job will be performed entirely in the warehouse where conditions can range from warm to cool. The job will be performed around warehouse machines and equipment with a moderate level of noise.
