S&S Activewear is hiring a Part-Time Warehouse Associate II in Lockport, IL. You will perform entry-level warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and will-call duties at the PopPick stations.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent preferred), ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and reliable transportation. Work is on-site with a Saturday-Sunday schedule, 10:00 AM–6:30 PM, at 16427 W. Prologis Parkway.

About the Role

A Part-Time Warehouse Associate II will perform entry level warehouse operations including one or more of the following: shipping, receiving, material handling, inventory control, cycle counting, pop pick or will call. Responsible for all warehouse operations, as well as the upkeep and maintenance of the warehouse environment and equipment. All S&S Activewear employees must adhere to the guidelines presented in the S&S Activewear Employee Handbook. They will primarily be working in our PopPick stations.

COMPENSATION AND SCHEDULE

$21.12 per hour

Saturday - Sunday (10AM - 6:30PM) Part-Time, Non-Exempt

ONSITE: 16427 W. Prologis Parkway - Lockport, IL 60441

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• The Warehouse Associate is responsible for efficiently and accurately filling customer orders, receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping product in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security, accuracy, and productivity.
• Prepare customer orders accurately and timely to meet daily production goals.
• Follow and commit to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for safety, quality, production, efficiency, and service requirements.
• Prepare and pack goods for shipment.
• Report and record any discrepancy, damaged items, shortages, broken or unidentified packages to the supervisor.
• Operates machinery including forklift, pallet jack, and stock chaser.
• Contributes to a culture and environment focused daily on employee safety and a safe work environment.
• Performs inventory counts and reconciles any discrepancies.
• Train in Will Call and other customer service duties as required.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of Distribution Center
• Assists with other warehouse or branch duties as needed.
• Must be willing to cross train.

PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT REQUIRED

Must be able to wear proper safety equipment (safety toe shoes, bump caps and safety vest). PPE is company-provided with a $100 stipend on safety-toe shoes after 90 days of employment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

In performing this job, the employee must stand and walk for an 8+ hour shift. Additionally, the position requires frequent grasping, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and handling of items with hands and arms, up to 50 lbs. Moderate hand-eye coordination, near vision, far vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, adjusting focus and hearing.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

• The job will be performed entirely in the warehouse where conditions can range from warm to cool.
• The job will be performed around warehouse machines and equipment with a moderate level of noise.
