Job summary

S&S Activewear in Lockport, IL is hiring a Warehouse Associate II for our onsite team. You will handle order fulfillment, receiving, stocking, and shipping with emphasis on safety, accuracy, and productivity at the Will Call/PopPick stations.

Responsibilities

• Fill customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Receive, stock, stage, and ship products per standards.
• Follow KPI targets for safety, quality, production, efficiency and service.
• Prepare and pack goods for shipment.
• Record discrepancies and report them to the supervisor.
• Operate machinery including forklift, pallet jack, and stock chaser.
• Contribute to a safe work environment and maintain distribution center cleanliness.
• Perform inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Cross-train in Will Call and other duties as needed.

About the Role

A Warehouse Associate II will perform entry level warehouse operations including one or more of the following: shipping, receiving, material handling, inventory control, cycle counting, pop pick or will call. Responsible for all warehouse operations, as well as the upkeep and maintenance of the warehouse environment and equipment. All S&S Activewear employees must adhere to the guidelines presented in the S&S Activewear Employee Handbook. They will primarily be working in our PopPick stations.

COMPENSATION AND SCHEDULE

$21.12 per hour

Monday - Friday (2:30PM - 11PM) Full-Time, Non-Exempt

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• The Warehouse Associate is responsible for efficiently and accurately filling customer orders, receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping product in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security, accuracy, and productivity.
• Prepare customer orders accurately and timely to meet daily production goals.
• Follow and commit to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for safety, quality, production, efficiency, and service requirements.
• Prepare and pack goods for shipment.
• Report and record any discrepancy, damaged items, shortages, broken or unidentified packages to the supervisor.
• Operates machinery including forklift, pallet jack, and stock chaser.
• Contributes to a culture and environment focused daily on employee safety and a safe work environment.
• Performs inventory counts and reconciles any discrepancies.
• Train in Will Call and other customer service duties as required.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of Distribution Center
• Assists with other warehouse or branch duties as needed.
• Must be willing to cross train.
