Job summary

Cardinal Health in Bedford, OH, is seeking a Warehouse Ops Associate to process and ship orders, lift heavy items, and operate various warehouse equipment. You will follow SOPs, conduct quality checks, and work in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety rules.

The role requires standing for long periods, regelmatig lifting up to 50 pounds, and potential overtime. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with onsite work and benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work overtime with little to no advance notice.
• Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift.
• Comfort working with heights 20+ feet regularly.
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
• Previous material handling equipment experience strongly preferred.
• RF scanner/voice pick experience highly preferred.
• Ability to follow direction and adapt priorities while working alone or in a team.
• Aptitude to work in a fast-paced warehouse while meeting hourly performance standards.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and rotate into various warehouse areas.
• Adhere to safety PPE and EHS policies.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to process orders: picking, quality checks, sorting, pallets, packing, and shipment prep.
• Pick large case items with equipment or small unit items to designated carts.
• Cross-train in multiple warehouse areas and participate in projects.
• Use WMS to check in/out products.
• Operate material handling equipment as required (order picker, forklift, reach truck, turret, pallet jack).
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks; maintain a safe work environment.
• Complete routine tasks and resolve problems.
• Participate in associate meetings and communicate concerns to management.
• Comply with OSHA standards and organizational policies.
