Job summary

IKEA Gruppe in Perryville, Maryland is hiring a General Warehouse Co-Worker to support daily picking, packing, shipping, receiving, replenishment and storing with the customer in focus.

The role is full-time and benefits eligible. You must have at least 1 year of related experience, the ability to lift up to 70 lbs., and fluency in English. The starting pay rate is $19.00 per hour, with comprehensive benefits including PTO, medical, dental and 24/7 telehealth.

Qualifications

• 1 year of related warehouse experience.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs./30 kgs ergonomically.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Forklift experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage picking, packing, shipping, receiving, replenishment and storing with a customer focus.
• Unload inbound and outbound goods safely and secure merchandise for movement.
• Support workload planning and adjust to seasonal fluctuations to meet targets.
• Identify and document any damages on incoming or outgoing merchandise.
• Take on additional tasks and projects as needed.
