Pay Rate: $22.50 – $23.93

Job Description

JOB OVERVIEW:

The Warehouse Associate Manufacturing 2 is a high skill role responsible for unloading raw materials, maintaining raw material and WIP zones, building loads, coordinating product flow, and loading finished goods into trucks. The role involves using SAP/Advaris for inventory records, applying printed tags to coils, and operating forklifts for copper coil transport.

General Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must read, write, and speak English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of SAP/Advaris
  • Ability to lift up to 45 lbs
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to stand and lift heavy loads for long periods
  • Certification to operate mobile equipment and overhead crane (Rod Mill)

Primary Job Tasks

  • Be a Southwire certified lift driver
  • Load and unload trucks with finished products, scrap, and miscellaneous items
  • Bill out trucks for shipments
  • Receive incoming trucks with raw materials and supplies
  • Log information into SAP/Advaris
  • Maintain warehouse housekeeping
  • Identify and tag materials
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
  • Maintain pallets, refuel and perform maintenance on forklifts
  • Tag materials and finished products
  • Assist with refractory unit maintenance and other mill duties

Cross Training

Cross-train within your workgroup, fill in for absent positions, and rotate to maintain skills.

Quality

Perform quality checks, report issues immediately, and follow ISO Quality System documentation.

Physical/Environmental Demands

Work in hot/cold environments, perform physical activities including lifting, standing, climbing, and more.
