Pay Rate: $22.50 - $23.93
JOB OVERVIEW:
The Warehouse Associate Manufacturing 2 is a high-skill role responsible for unloading raw materials, maintaining inventory zones, building loads, coordinating product flow, and loading finished goods. The role requires using SAP/Advaris for inventory records, applying printed tags, and operating forklifts to transport copper rod coils to storage locations.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of SAP/Advaris
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs
- Ability to follow instructions, stand, and lift heavy loads
- Certification to operate mobile equipment and overhead crane (Rod Mill)
PRIMARY JOB TASKS:
- Certified lift driver
- Load/unload trucks, bill out shipments
- Receive raw materials and finished products
- Tag scrap and defective items
- Assist with production and maintenance tasks
- Log data into SAP/Advaris
- Maintain warehouse housekeeping
- Identify and allocate materials
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Refuel and maintain forklifts
- Tag materials and finished products
- Assist with refractory maintenance and mill duties
CROSS TRAINING:
- Cross-train within workgroup
- Rotate to maintain skills
- Fill in for absences
QUALITY:
- Ensure quality checks before releasing products
- Report issues immediately
- Follow ISO Quality System procedures
PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
- Work in hot/cold environments
- Physical activities include balancing, climbing, grasping, lifting, reaching, standing, walking, and sitting
