Job Description

JOB OVERVIEW:
The Warehouse Associate Manufacturing 2 is a skilled role responsible for unloading raw materials, maintaining inventory zones, building loads, coordinating product flow, and loading finished goods. The role involves using SAP/Advaris for inventory management and operating forklifts and other mobile equipment.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient in English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and SAP/Advaris
  • Ability to lift up to 45 lbs
  • Certified to operate mobile equipment and overhead crane (Rod Mill)

PRIMARY JOB TASKS:

  • Load and unload trucks, bill out shipments, receive raw materials and finished products
  • Log and tag materials, assist operators, maintain warehouse cleanliness
  • Operate forklifts, refuel equipment, perform minor maintenance
  • Assist with refractory maintenance and other mill duties as needed

CROSS TRAINING: Employees will be cross-trained in equipment operation and may be required to rotate roles to maintain proficiency.

QUALITY: Ensure all products pass quality checks before release, report issues promptly, and adhere to ISO quality documentation.

PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: Ability to work in hot/cold environments, perform physical activities including lifting, standing, climbing, and repetitive motions.
