Job summary

San José Unified is seeking a Warehouse team member to receive, store, and distribute materials, maintaining accurate records and ensuring safety. You’ll support operations, use forklifts, and collaborate across departments to meet student and staff needs.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a CA driver’s license, forklift certification, and a ServSafe certification when assigned to Student Nutrition Services. Training will align with district safety standards.

Qualifications

• 12th grade or equivalent completion.
• California driver's license required.
• Forklift certification required.
• Resume and letter of introduction outlining qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and organize shipments of supplies and equipment.
• Fill and prepare orders for delivery to school sites and departments.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using established systems.
• Ensure safe handling of materials, including forklift use.
• Monitor product conditions and report damages or shortages.
• Keep warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Assist with deliveries and pickups and ensure timely routing.
• Collaborate with team to support daily operations and service needs.
