Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Warehouse Worker in San Jose to receive, inspect, label, and stock incoming products. You will perform quantity checks, organize inventory using FIFO, and assist with order picking for requisitions or par levels.

The role requires basic math, reading/writing skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lb. Training on equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts will be provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years of age.
• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• 2 years warehouse experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic reading, writing and arithmetic.
• Basic computer skills.
• Manual dexterity.
• Able to lift up to 50 lb frequent; up to 35 lb at a time.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect products, label items, and report discrepancies with deliveries and invoices.
• Organize and store incoming products using FIFO for perishable items.
• Operate manual/electric pallet jacks and forklifts as required.
• Picks inventory to assemble orders for requisitions or par levels.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures to meet accuracy and production standards.
• Load, unload, and transport products to different warehouse areas or client locations.
• Conduct routine physical inventory counts per location schedules.
• Complete administrative duties like inventory counts and logs in paper or digital systems.
• Maintain clean work areas and comply with safety policies, PPE, and OSHA rules.
• Ensure security of client and company assets; interact with clients and staff as needed.
