Job summary

Forklift operation and safety are essential in this on-site position. Qualifications include a high school diploma, two years in driving or warehouse work, and a California driver’s license with forklift certification within a month.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of experience driving light trucks or warehouse work.
• California driver's license required; forklift certification within first month.
• Class A or B driver's license with air brake endorsement may be required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload and inspect shipments; report discrepancies.
• Drive a District vehicle to pick up and deliver goods; maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Pull and pack orders; load onto trucks and deliver to sites; return empty crates.
• Shelve and store items; rotate inventory and ensure proper storage.
• Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts and dollies; input data into computer systems.
• Maintain clean, safe warehouse; assist in periodic inventory activities.
