Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Wilmer, TX is hiring an Inventory Control Associate to maintain accurate inventory, conduct counts, and support warehouse operations on a Fri–Sun schedule. This role includes a weekend premium and weekly pay, with training and safety gear provided.

The position requires warehouse experience and forklift familiarity, plus strong communication and data handling skills to ensure GMP compliance and client demand accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 1 year of warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience with forklift operation is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).

Responsibilities

• Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Audit inbound and outbound shipments.
• Participate in physical inventories as needed.
• Provide floor support to Supervisors and hourly staff on inventory issues.
• Resolve inventory discrepancies as needed.
• Maintain GMPs with emphasis on safety.
• Ensure inventory accuracy to meet client demands.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay: $20.00 per hour
• Additional Pay:$2.00 added per hour when assigned to weekend shift
• Schedule:1st shift; Friday - Sunday 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent perferred
• One (1) year or more previous warehouse experience preferred
• One (1) year or more experience operating forklift equipment preferred
• One (1) year or more Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) preferred
• Depending on location may be required to be equipment certified
• Ability to recognize and read location, date and product codes
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment
