Job summary

Ryder is seeking an Inventory Control Associate in Wilmer, Texas. This role offers weekly pay, weekend shift premium, and a first shift schedule (Friday–Sunday, 6:00 AM–6:30 PM) within well‑organized facilities that prioritize safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities include cycle counts, audits, inventory management, and supporting supervisors. Training is provided, with safety gear furnished and opportunities for advancement in a team‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Requires basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Warehouse experience and forklift operation familiarity are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Audit inbound and outbound shipments.
• Participate in physical inventories as needed.
• Provide floor support to Supervisors and associates on inventory issues.
• Resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain GMPs with emphasis on safety.
• Ensure inventory accuracy to meet client demands.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay: $20.00 per hour


• Additional Pay:$2.00 added per hour when assigned to weekend shift


• Schedule:1st shift; Friday - Sunday 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent perferred


• One (1) year or more previous warehouse experience preferred


• One (1) year or more experience operating forklift equipment preferred


• One (1) year or more Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) preferred


• Depending on location may be required to be equipment certified


• Ability to recognize and read location, date and product codes


• Strong verbal and written communication skills


• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
